Islin Munisteri is the Vice President and co-founder of Theia Marketing. Before founding Theia Marketing, Islin was a reservoir engineer in Alaska, determining the remaining producible volume of oil and gas.  Before that, she was a reservoir for BP working in the Gulf of Mexico.

Islin takes the unique experiences she gained while working in the oil & gas industry and applies them to the complex marketing world. Her ability to identify a complex problem and develop a custom solution has been invaluable to her work and volunteer achievements. For this, she received the Young Engineer of the Year Award from the Society of Women Engineers, the New Faces of Engineering Award from the Engineers Week Foundation, and Society of Petroleum Engineers The Way Ahead Most Valuable Editor.

Islin has spent most of her free time outside of family and work volunteering at organizations like the Society of Women Engineers, Junior Achievement, and Society of Petroleum Engineers, building leadership skills and promoting young people to join the sciences. To further encourage children entering S.T.E.M., she founded Creating Potential, a non-profit focused on helping young people pursue successful careers in S.T.E.M.

Islin's passion for helping people achieve their ultimate potential shows through in all parts of her life. She wrote "You Are Enough," a personal account of the imbalance of work-life balance. She has also published numerous articles for the Society of Petroleum Engineer's The Way Ahead magazine.

Islin holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering and a minor in International Political Economy from the Colorado School of Mines.

If she had $10 million to donate today, she would give the money to the Society of Women Engineers Scholarship Program, which works to increase the number of women in the S.T.E.M. fields.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading a good book, going for hikes with her family, and mentoring young people.
